DI Walsh University District Girls Baskeball Seed Voting Matrix 2016

All of the DI Walsh University District Girls Basketball Coaches have submitted their initial seed vote for Sunday’s Tournament Draw that will commence around 2:00 PM.

In the initial tally, the Louisville Leopards drew the 6th receiving 49 points after that maximum and minimum extremes were removed. Louisville did receive a top seed vote from Akron Garfield and Canton McKinley voted them 4th as well.

GlenOak, Green, and Lake all ranked the Leopards 7th, which was the lowest vote they received. The Golden Eagles 51-28 win in the opener is Louisville’s only loss of the season thus far. The Leopards also edged the Blue Streaks 40-38 back on November 24 and they will host the Bulldogs on February 8.

The Canton McKinley Bulldogs claimed the top seed after receiving 86 total points, which included first place votes from 8 of the 10 opposing teams. North Canton Hoover also received two first place votes to claim the #2 Seed. Jackson and Perry rounded out the top four seeds.

Louisville is 2-1 against teams in this District so far this season. Along with the aforementioned games against GlenOak & Lake, the Lady Leopards also won at Massillon 48-46 back on December 10.
