Courtney Barwick scored a game high 19 and Brooke Haren poured in 18 to lead the Leopards to a 60-42 road win over the Vikings. Taryn Miglich also scored 14 points and broke the LHS single season three-pointer record as Louisville won at Hoover for the first time since 1989.
Zach Root shot a team low 5 over par 77 to qualify individually for the District Tournament at Pine Hills. Louisville shot 344 as a team to place ninth at the DI Sectional held at Tannenhauf Golf Club.
Jack Mayle shot a 37 to lead the Leopards in their 163-167 victory over the visiting Vikings at Sleepy Hollow Country Club. Zach Root also shot 41 as Louisville won its 10th straight to finish the regular season 10-1.
Mazzy Miller and Mikaiah Sells each scored second half goals to lift the Leopards past the Vikings 2-0. Amelia Henderhan also earned her fifth shutout in goal for Louisville who improved to 5-5.
The Louisville Leopards Varsity Volleyball Team was swept by the visiting North Canton Hoover Vikings in three sets 22-25, 18-25, 18-25 Thursday Night at Louisville High School. With the loss, Louisville falls to 1-11 on the season.
Daveion Cruse finished with 147 total yards and scored a 4th quarter touchdown but the Leopards fell to the Vikings 34-8 in the 100th meeting between the two rivals. Andrew Essik also ran for 67 yards and scored on a two-point conversion as Louisville fell to 1-3.
Jack Mayle placed 13th shooting 10 over par 81 to lead the Leopards who took 8th at the Congress Lake Invite. Zach Root also came in 17th carding an 11 over par 82.
Caleb Harsh shot a team best 77 to lead the boys and Peyton Biery shot 89 to lead the girls as the Leopards placed 6th at the Northeast Ohio Co-Ed Tournament. Jack Mayle also shot 79 as Louisville finished as runner-up for the boys field.
Sam Karcher placed shot 7 over par 78 to place 9th individually as Louisville tied Kent Roosevelt for 7th place in the DI Flight. Jack Mayle also took 14th shooting 8 over par 80 for the tournament.
Kylie Wallace shot a team best 97 and Peyton Biery shot 100 to lead the Lady Leopards in their 12th place finish in the morning wave of the Hudson Lady Explorer Invite at Lake Forest Country Club. Natalie Warner also carded 103, Anna Myers 114, and Isabelle Tack’s 121 allowed Louisville to capture the tie-breaker over GlenOak for 12th.
