Cole Miller, Connor Morley, Cooper Rice, and Charlie Roberts all had two hits each as the #8 seed Leopards defeated the #9 seed Golden Eagles 4-2 to advance to their first Division I District Championship. Connor Morley and Zach Root combined on the mound striking out 6 in a winning effort.
Brooke Hubbard scored a team tournament record 7 goals and Kalli Spehar recorded a hat trick as the Leopards defeated the Gators 16-7 to earn their first tournament win since 2018. Tess Golden and Olivia Marcantonio also added 2 goals each as Louisville improved to 9-6.
Matti Benson hit a walk-off 2-run homer to lift #15 Louisville past visiting #21 Solon 5-4 in the DI Massillon Sectional Semifinals. Kenzi Denzer also hit a solo homer and Anna Sirohman struck out 10 in earning the win in the circle for the now 10-11 Lady Leopards.
Brooke Hubbard scored 4 goals to lead the Lady Leopards past the host Bulldogs 14-4. Tess Golden and Kylee Murphy also recorded hat tricks as Louisville improved to 4-5.
Hayden Nigro scored a team high 13 points and Will Aljancic dropped in 12 to lead Louisville past visiting Solon 50-42 in their DI Northeast 3 Sectional Final. Beau Siegfried also scored 9 and Brayden Gross 7 as the Leopards advanced to districts for the fourth straight year.
Brayden Gross scored a game high 21 points as Louisville defeated visiting Central Catholic 66-59 on Senior Night. Will Aljancic also scored 18 and Beau Siegfried dropped in 14 for the Leopards who finish with an 18-4 regular season record.
Louisville defeated St. Vincent-St. Mary 39-34 in the quarterfinals before falling to Medina Buckeye 56-11 in the semifinals and Wauseon 33-24 in the third place match. The Leopards placed 4th as a team at the OHSWCA Dual Team State Tournament.
Hayden Nigro scored 16 points & the game winning basket with 8 seconds remaining during Louisville’s 53-52 comeback win over host Lake. Brayden Gross also scored 13 and Will Aljancic added 12 as LHS improved to 15-4.
Brooke Haren scored a game high 20 points to lead Leopards past the host Blue Streaks 53-49. Taryn Miglich also scored 13 and Courtney Barwick added 10 as Louisville improved to 12-7.
