Leah Claugus hit a solo homer to give the Lady Leopards the early lead, but they would fall to the Bulldogs 10-1 in the DIII State Championship. Anna Sirohman & Shae O’Neill each went 2-for-3 as Louisville finishes the season 18-14 & DIII State Runner-Up.
Anna Sirohman hit a solo homer & Katelynn Miller stuck out 15 as Louisville edged Mansfield Madison 3-2 in the DIII State Semifinals. Taylor Thompson and Maggie Baker also drove in runs in the tenth inning as the Lady Leopards advance to their second state championship.
Bailee Griffith hit a 2-run homer & Katelynn Miller threw a shutout as the #18 Lady Leopards blanked the #2 Knights 8-0 in the DIII Region 9 Championship. Anna Sirohman & Kaitlin Twinem also had multi-hit games as Louisville advanced to state for the second time in team history.
Katelynn Miller went 3-for-3 at the plate and struck out 10 as #18 Louisville defeated #12 Holy Name 5-1 in the DIII Region 9 Semifinals. Addy Campbell also hit a 2-run double and Shae O’Neill had a pair of RBI hits as LHS advanced to the Regional Finals for the second straight season.
Kaitlin Twinem hit a grand slam & Katelynn Miller threw a 1-hit shutout & struck out a school record 16 to lead the #18 Lady Leopards in their 7-0 shutout of #4 Medina Buckeye in the DIII Northeast 5 District Championship.
Kaitlin Twinem went 3-for-3 with a 3-run triple & an RBI double to lead the #18 Lady Leopards past the host #16 Fighting Irish in the District Semifinals. Anna Sirohman also went 2-for-3 and Katelynn Miller struck out 6 earning the win in the circle as LHS improve to 14-13.
Taylor Thompson had 4 hits & Shae O’Neill went 2-for-3 with 3 RBIs as the #18 Lady Leopards upset the host #8 Fighting Irish 11-3 in the Sectional Finals. Taylor Schneider struck out 8 in the circle & Leah Claugus recorded her 100th hit as LHS evened its mark at 13-13.
Kaitlin Twinem hit a 2-run homer and Anna Sirohman hit a pair of doubles to lead the Lady Leopards past the visiting Cardinals 6-1. Katelynn Miller also threw a complete game and struck out 11 as LHS finished the regular season 12-13.
Taylor Thompson went 2-for-3 with a pair of doubles to lead the Leopards in their 6-5 loss to the host Panthers. Katelynn Miller and Anna Sirohman also had 2 hits each and Addy Campbell cracked a 2-run single as LHS dropped to 11-13.
Katelynn Miller threw a no-hitter and struck out 13 to lead the Leopards in a 10-0 win over the visiting Orangemen. Addy Campbell and Anna Sirohman also homered as Louisville improved to 11-12.
