The Louisville Leopards Boys Soccer Team defeated the Louisville Alumni 5-3 Friday Night in the 10th annual LHS Boys Soccer Alumni Game at Louisville Leopards Stadium.
Kibler Scores Twice to Lead LHS
Ryan Kibler scored a pair of goals to lead the Leopards. Dominic Porter-Kovacich, Angelo Paquelet, and Brady Adams also got on the board of this year’s Louisville squad.
The Leopards led 1-0 at the half and never trailed throughout. The Alumni got within a single goal twice in the second half after goals by Austin Smith and Riley Adams. Travis Pape also scored on a rare Alumni Game penalty kick with 2:56 remaining.
This is the second straight win by Louisville over the Alumni. LHS also defeated the Alumni squad by a pair of goals, 6-4 last season. Louisville leads the all-time series 7-2-1 over the Alumni.
UP NEXT: The Louisville Leopards Boys Soccer Team will next host the Kent Roosevelt Rough Riders in a scrimmage on Thursday, August 3. Game time is set for 7:00 PM from Louisville Leopards Stadium.
