Leopards “Fool” Opponents: Softball, Baseball, & Tennis All Win

SOFTBALL

Louisville 11, Minerva 1, 5 Innings

Desi Givens and Chandler Rice hit back-to-back home runs in the first inning and Louisville never looked back as they continued to pour it on and mercy Minerva 11-1 in just five innings.  Jordan Monnot had 3 hits on the day and Shelby Swigert also reached aboard with two hits for the Lady Leps.  On the mound, Gianna Falcone got her first victory of the season in helping the Leopards stay undefeated.

BASEBALL

Louisville 12, Northwest 2, 5 Innings

The Leopards had to wait two more days than expected due to the weather, but once again Louisville crushed Northwest 12-2 winning by mercy in just 5 innings.  Mike Kelly pitched all 5 innings for the Leopards giving up just 2 runs and striking out 4.

NEXT UP: The Leopards will travel to Lake to take on the Blue Streaks on Monday, April 4 at 5:00 PM.  The JV and Freshman squads will take on Lake at home at the same time.

BOYS TENNIS

Louisville 5, United Local 0

The Leopards (1-2) boys tennis team got their first victory of the season by sweeping United Local 5-0.  Aaron Sullivan and Nicholas Terra each got solid singles victories, while Michael Thomas narrowly escaped with a singles win over United Local’s Kyle Gerge.  Both doubles squads of Vince Burwell & Daniel Thompson and Adam Sullivan & Anthony Hoover each won convincingly as well.
