Jones and Gramoy Play Final Game in Stark-Summit Classic

Senior Leopard Owen Gramoy and Senior Lady Leopard Alyssa Jones played the final game of their high school careers Wednesday night at Walsh University for the Stark County vs. Summit County Annual Basketball Classic.

Jones scored 2 points and grabbed several rebounds, but the Stark County Girls Basketball All-Stars fell to Summit County 72-63.  The entire Louisville girls basketball coaching staff under the direction of Head Coach Garee McCully were the coaches for Stark County during the game.  Both Jones and the coaches received a t-shirt and trophy following the final buzzer.

Gramoy was the lone NBC participant in the boys contest, but failed to score in the game and grabbed 2 rebounds in limited time.  A sloppy, defensiveness, show-boating game resulted between the two counties, but Summit County again crushed Stark 114-74.  Owen also received an award and trophy following the show.

Both Alyssa Jones and Owen Gramoy had fantastic careers at Louisville and will be missed dearly. Leopard Nation wishes both of you the best of luck in all you do!
