After Vince Burwell served and Marlington returned, Daniel Thompson threw the hammer down to close out #1 Doubles. The win was the Leopards clinching third, which gave them the match and a share of the NBC Title with Salem.
Adam Sullivan won his first two singles matches Tuesday at the Canton Division I Sectional Boys Tennis Tournament. Sullivan defeated Green’s Isaac Lampner 6-1, 6-2 in the first round and battled back for a 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 victory over Boardman’s Nick Lockshaw in the second round.
Louisville’s 3-2 win was their first win over Perry since 1995. The teams of Michael Thomas & Ryan Shepherd and Vince Burwell & Daniel Thompson won doubles matches, while Anthony Hoover won his singles match.

The Leopards boys tennis team edged out Canton South 3-2 in moving to 7-0 in the NBC and 13-1 overall. With the sweep of South, Louisville has now won 5 of their 7 NBC matches by counts of 3-2.
