Rachel Kibler, Jade Thomas, and Katie Yarnall all won their singles matches in two sets as Louisville downed host New Philadelphia 4-1. Bailey Menegay & McKenzie Taylor also won #1 doubles as LHS improved to 4-1.
Sophomore Brooke Haren led the Lady Leopards with 10 kills and 3 aces but LHS fell to the host Bulldogs 21-25, 26-24, 20-25, 20-25. AJ Burick also recorded 27 assists and Emma Davis had a match-high 14 digs as Louisville fell to 1-2.
Sam Karcher shot a competitive low 38 as Louisville shot their best match of the year in a 162-224 victory over visiting East Canton. Zach Root also shot 40 as the Leopards improved to 2-2.
Cole Miller shot a team low 86 to lead the Leopards as they took 13th place out of 19 teams at Congress Lake Blue Streaks Invitational. Jack Mayle & Zach Root also shot 88 each and Sam Karcher carded a 90 for LHS.
Rachel Kibler and Katie Yarnall both won their singles matches in straight sets but the Leopards fell to the host Tornadoes 3-2 to fall to 3-1 on the season.
Colby Adams placed 2nd to lead the Louisville Boys to a 2nd place finish out of 19 teams at the Riverside Kickoff Classic Night Invitational. Camryn Barker finished 6th to lead the Lady Leopards as they took 10th out of 18 teams. View full results and LHS recap.
Fallon VanZant got Louisville on the board with 4:11 to go, but the Leopards still fell to the host Golden Eagles 2-1 at Bob Commings Field. LHS is now 1-2-2 on the season.
Drew Dillen scored the go-ahead goal in the 48th minute as Louisville edged visiting Field 3-2 in their home opener. Brady Adams and Dominic Porter-Kovacich both scored on penalty kicks earlier in the contest as LHS moved to 2-0.
Riston Jobes ran for a touchdown & Zack Seaman caught a clutch touchdown pass from Caleb Miller but the Leopards fell to the host Bulldogs 21-13.
Jack Mayle shot a match low 39 to lead the Leopards to their first victory of the season 166-201 over the visiting Falcons in their home opener. Caleb Harsh & Cole Miller also shot 42 each and Zach Root carded a 43.
