Leopards Knot Blue Streaks on the Road 1-1 – Boys Soccer

The Louisville Leopards Boys Varsity Soccer Team tied the host Lake Blue Streaks 1-1 Saturday Afternoon at Blue Streaks Stadium. With their second straight tie, Louisville moves to 4-3-2 on the season.

Foley Scores Lone Leopard Goal in 1st Half
Senior Mason Foley scored the Leopards only goal via a free kick in the opening half. The goal was Foley’s second of the season and gave Louisville a 1-0 lead that they would take into the break.
Lake answered back in the second half via a goal by Michael Giganti to tie the game at 1-1. The score held the rest of the way resulting in a draw.
Louisville Vs. Lake Boys Soccer History
This is the third time the two teams have tied in their head-to-head series. The Leopards and Blue Streaks also played to a 1-1 tie in 2016 at Louisville and a 2-2 tie in 2019 at Lake.
UP NEXT: The Louisville Leopards Boys Soccer Team will next travel to take on the Wadsworth Grizzlies on Tuesday, September 28. JV is slated to begin at 5:00 PM and varsity is set to begin at 7:00 PM from Memorial Park Wadsworth Art Wright Stadium.
JV: Louisville 2, Lake 1
Nick Johnston scored both goals for the Leopards. The first came via an assist by Remi Klein. The second goal was unassisted and came with around a minute remaining in the contest to break the 1-1 tie.
