Louisville Wrestlers Nearly Flawless Against Salem
Paul Lycan, Andrew Cook, Brock Mehl, Logan Skolosh, Dalton Deckerd, and Jonathan Middleton all won by pin for Louisville during a 71-6 rout of visiting Salem.

With the new enrollment figures and breakdowns released by the OHSAA, all Leopards sports will be in DI except for football which will play in DIII. Baseball, Boys Soccer, Boys Swimming, and Wrestling all make the jump to DI this season.

The Leopards defeated Salem 41-30 back on January 31, but fell to Alliance 57-16 Thursday night. Louisville finishes 5-11 overall and 2-5 in conference play.
Dalton Deckerd and Mark Robison each earned pins for the Leopards, while Dakota Oliver and Marshall Mason won by technical fall. Marshall Vick’s decision in the final match decided the outcome in favor of the Leps.
The Leopards fell to West Branch 50-12 Thursday. Dakota Oliver, Garrett Robbins, Marshall Mason, and Dale Welsh earned decisions for Louisville. The Leps also went 3-2 at the Indian Valley Duals.
Dakota Oliver won by technical fall, while Mark Robison, Dale Welsh, Anthony Kirkbride, John DiAntonio, and Dane Dugan won by decision but it was not nearly enough to overcome the Warriors 5 pins.
Lucas Poyser completed a run to his second straight individual District Title on February 25. Poyser also finished 5th in the State and Leopards Wrestling as a team finished 4-3.
Lucas Poyser finished his senior season 32-3 taking 5th place in the 160-pound weight class in Division II at the State Meet this past weekend.
Lucas Poyser won the championship bout by a 6-3 decision to give him another Individual District Title! Poyser will be heading to Columbus next weekend!
