Louisville 71, Salem 6

The Louisville Leopards Wrestling Team opened NBC play with a near-flawless 71-6 victory over the visiting Salem Quakers Thursday evening at LHS.

Louisville won every match except for the 220 match in which they lost by forfeit. Paul Lycan, Andrew Cook, Brock Mehl, Logan Skolosh, Dalton Deckerd, and Jonathan Middleton all won via pin. Marshall Vick and Tanner Brahler claimed Major Decisions and Dane Dugan Won by Decision. Four other Leopards earned victory through forfeit.

According to our records, the victory is the Leopards largest since a 69-3 win over Green on December 4, 2010 in the Lake Varsity Duals. Louisville is now 3-0 against Salem since the Quakers entered the NBC.
