Leopards Crack 4 Homers in Loss to Lake – Softball
Matti Adams, Brooke Brendle, Jenna Collins, and Kenzi Denzer all homered but the Lady Leopards fell to the Blue Streaks 9-7 at the George Duhon Memorial Tournament at Genshaft Park. Louisville falls to 4-7 with the loss.
Louisville Sunk By Lake in Final Minute – Boys Basketball
Will Aljancic scored a game high 20 points and Hayden Nigro poured in 19 but the Leopards fell to the visiting Blue Streaks 51-46 on Senior Night. Tyler Boldon also scored 5 points as LHS fell to 15-6.
Lady Leopards Storm Past Blue Streaks 48-26 – Girls Basketball
Courtney Barwick scored a game high 14 points and Brooke Haren added 10 as Louisville earned a 48-26 road win at Lake. Aubrey Thorne also tacked on 7 as the Lady Leopards improved to 13-5.
Leopards Run Away with Josh Hephner Memorial Tournament Title, Schaffer MVP – Wrestling
Blake Schaffer was named tournament MVP in leading Louisville to their second straight team title at the Josh Hephner Memorial Tournament. Kolten Barker, Cameron Brazek, Pablo Castro, Dominic Hoffarth, and Brenden Severs also finished 1st for LHS.
Louisville Sinks Lake on Alumni Night 44-30 – Wrestling
Kolten Barker, Pablo Castro, Dominic Hoffarth, Noah Peterson, and Cameron Brazek all won by fall to lead the Leopards past the visiting Blue Streaks 44-30 on Alumni Night. Louisville improves to 3-0 with the victory.
Louisville Runs Away with District Title – Cross Country
Colby Adams, Bobby Ganser, & Owen Pukys all finished in the top 6 to lead the Leopards to their first District Title since 2019. Camryn Barker and Bailey Menegay qualified for regionals for the Louisville girls.
Mayle Advances to District as Louisville Takes 7th at Tannenhauf Sectional – Boys Golf
Jack Mayle shot a team low 77 to finish 11th individually qualifying for the district tournament. Zach Root also shot 82 as the Leopards finished 7th at the DI Tannenhauf Sectional with a team score of 333.
Louisville Takes 5th at Stark County Tournament – Boys Golf
Jack Mayle shot a team low 81 to take 10th individually as the Leopards placed 5th out of 15 competing teams at the Stark County Tournament. Sam Karcher also shot 87 and both Cole Miller & Zach Root carded 93 each for LHS.
Leopards Knot Blue Streaks on the Road 1-1 – Boys Soccer
Mason Foley scored Louisville’s only goal in the opening half, but Lake answered in the second half to force a 1-1 draw. Louisville is now 4-3-2 on the season with the tie.
