The Louisville Leopards Girls Varsity Lacrosse Team fell to the host Lake Blue Streaks 9-2 Wednesday Night at Blue Streak Stadium. With the loss, Louisville falls to 5-7 on the season.


Golden and Shadle Score for Lady Leopards

Lingenhoel Group - Arden and Lisa Lingenhoel - Cutler Real Estate AdJunior midfielder Tess Golden and senior senior attack Chloe Shadle each scored a goal to lead the Lady Leopards. Senior attack Hallie Schillig also added an assist.

On defense, sophomore goalkeeper Sarah Bricker recorded 11 saves for Louisville.


Baker Records Hat Trick for Blue Streaks

Jenny Can Cleaning AdSophomore Jillian Baker recorded a hat trick to lead the Lady Blue Streaks. Senior midfielder Ava Miller also scored a pair of goals, had one assist, and caused six turnovers. 

Other goal scorers for Lake included senior attack Kelsi Dempsey, freshman Payton Infantino, junior midfielder Emma Labbe, and sophomore Avery Niedert. Niedert also tallied two assists and caused two turnovers. Senior defender Alaina Mitchell caused two turnovers as well for the Lady Streaks.

Lake led 5-1 at the half and tacked on four more goals in the second stanza to take the game.  


Lake Wins 5th Straight Over Louisville

The Lady Blue Streaks have now defeated the Lady Leopards in six straight matches dating back to 2019. Louisville won the previous seven games in the series before that and LHS still leads the all-time series 7-5 overall. The Lady Leopards are now 3-4 all-time when playing at Lake.
