Louisville Splits 1st Home Meet With Dover – Track & Field
The Leopards Boys Track & Field Team Defeated the visiting Tornadoes 85-43 while the Louisville Girls fell to Dover 81-47 in their home opener Monday.

Brooke Brendle and Jenna Collins recorded the only hits for the Leopards in their 10-0 loss to the host Falcons. Louisville is now 4-3 on the season.
Lauren Stillwagon went 2-for-4 with a grand slam & Matti Benson went 3-for-5 with 2 RBIs to lead Louisville past host Boardman 9-4. Jenna Collins also went 2-for-4 with a pair of RBIs as LHS improved to 4-2.
Kael Mickley and Austin Smith scored a meet best 25 points each to lead the Louisville Boys to a 1st Place finish at the Fairless Falcon Invitational. Ma’Ryah Hargrove led the girls with 22 points as the Lady Leopards placed 3rd.
The Leopards fell to the host Wildcats 11-1 in five innings before demolishing the Trojans 14-4 in a tri-header at Lagrange Community Park. Matti Benson and Jenna Collins drove in 5 runs each against McDowell.
Kaylee Nolte went 3-for-5 with a homer & 3 RBIs as Louisville rallied from a 6-0 first inning deficit and downed host East Canton 11-7 in eight innings. Lauren Stillwagon also had 4 hits and Katie Porter finished with 3 hits for now 2-1 LHS.
Jenna Collins and Lauren Stillwagon both went yard as the Leopards defeated the visiting Tigers 7-4. Matti Benson also went 3-for-3 with a pair of doubles for 1-1 Louisville.
Lauren Stillwagon drove home Kaylee Nolte for Louisville’s only run in their 7-1 season opening loss to visiting Dover. Matti Benson finished 2-for-4 to lead the Lady Leopards at the dish.
Chase Barstow rolled a 715 series to finish as the DI state runner-up individually while leading the Leopards to a 12th place finish overall. Matt Darlison also rolled 533 and Tom Warner 532 in their series.
Chase Barstow rolled a team best 470 series to lead the Louisville Boys in their 3013-2942 loss to visiting Canton McKinley. Marissa Hilson led the Lady Leopards with a 360 series in their 2491-2278 loss to the Lady Pups.
