Katie Bice earned tournament medalist by shooting 76 to lead Louisville to their second consecutive Tri-County Postseason Tournament Championship. Madison Gruber also finished second individually and Alexis Ralston & Erin Strouse took 5th.
Erin Strouse shot a team low 39 to lead the Lady Leopards to victories over the Crusaders 162-181 and host Tornadoes 181-223 at Zoar Golf Club Monday. Madison Gruber also carded 40, Alexis Ralston 41, and Katie Bice 42 as Louisville improved to 15-0.
Erin Strouse shot a team low 33 as Louisville set a new team 9-hole low in their 148-157 victory over Canton Central Catholic. Katie Bice and Alexis Ralston also shot 36 each for the now 9-0 Lady Leopards.
Rachel Kibler, Sherilynn Mullett, & Jade Thomas all won their singles matches in straight sets as the Leopards beat the Crusaders 4-1. Bailey Menegay & Katie Yarnall also won in #1 doubles for 4-5 LHS.
Katie Bice set a school record by shooting a 32 on the front nine and finished with a tournament best 76 for the day. Louisville set an 18-hole team record by shooting 311 as a team to win the Tri-County Preseason Tournament for the first time in team history.
Paige Cole scored a game-high 17 points to lead Louisville to a 68-23 win at Canton Central Catholic. Kendal Loy also scored 11 and Sherilynn Mullett added 9 for the 10-5 the Lady Leopards.
The Leopards defeated the Crusaders 2400-2285 to even their mark at 6-6 on the season. Louisville fell to Triway and Minerva in previous dual meets and also competed at two holiday tournaments.
Chase Barstow was the top bowler in Stark County for Week 3 in leading the Leopards to victories over East Canton and Central Catholic this past week. Louisville is now 3-4 on the season.
The Louisville Girls Bowling Team is now 5-2 on the season after earning home victories against North Canton Hoover, East Canton, Triway, and Canton Central Catholic.
Grayson Beamer made 6 catches for 131 yards and caught a touchdown but the Leopards fell to the Crusaders 26-22 on Senior Night. Colton Jones also threw for 253 yards with touchdown passes to Jason Goard and Ryan Pukys.
