Louisville Boys Bowling Now 6-6 After Win at Central

Louisville Leopards Boys Bowling at Wabash Lanes 2019

My Fit Life Personal Trainer AdThe Louisville Leopards Boys Bowling Team competed in a pair of holiday tournaments prior to the new year. Louisville finished 5th out of 8 teams at the Garaway Pirate Holiday Tournament on December 28 at Wabash Lanes. The Leopards also took 8th out of 16 teams at the Park Center Lanes New Year’s Eve Tournament on December 31.

In between tournament competition, Louisville went on the road and fell to the undefeated Minerva Lions 2649-2422 on December 30. The Leopards started the new year with a pair of road dual matches. LHS fell to the Triway Titans 2840-2604 at Triway Lanes on January 9 before defeating the Canton Central Catholic Crusaders 2400-2285 at Strike Zone Lanes on January 10.

Louisville is now an even 6-6 on the season.

12/28: Garaway Pirate Holiday Tournament
Louisville – 5th Out of 8

Lingenhoel Group - Arden and Lisa Lingenhoel - Cutler Real Estate AdThe Louisville Leopard Bowling Team traveled to Wabash Lanes on Saturday to compete in the Garaway Holiday Tournament. Chase Barstow led the Leopards with games of 257, 189, and 193. Chase won 4th place All-Tournament Team for individuals. Matt Darlison followed with games of 183, 201, and 203. Tom Warner threw a 168, 202, and 161. Blake Yuhaniak rolled a 184, 143, and 148. Randy Ellis threw a game of 156. Garrett Chilson rolled a 141 and Caleb Shardy had a 132. The boys rolled baker games of 215, 215, 193, 178, and 170. They placed 5th out of 8 and missed the cut by just 40 pins.

12/30: Minerva 2649, Louisville 2422

The Louisville Leopard Bowling Team fell against Minerva on Monday. Chase Barstow led the Leopards with games of 212 and 204. Thomas Warner threw a 191 and 178. Blake Yuhaniak threw a 184 and 167. Caleb Shardy rolled a 137 and 139. Garrett Chilson bowled a 201 and Randy Ellis rolled a 124.

12/31: Park Centre Lanes New Year’s Eve Tournament
Louisville – 2916 (8th Out of 16)

Tom Warner led the Leopards with games of 238 and 180. Chase Barstow followed with games of 191 and 194. Randy Ellis rolled games of 167 and 211. Blake Yuhaniak threw a 153 and 144. Matt Darlison rolled a 166 and Nick Phillips threw a 129. The Leopards improved with baker games of 169, 194, 214, 208, 190, and 169. The Leopards missed the cut by 9 pins failing to make it to the next round of match play.

1/9: Triway 2840, Louisville 2604

The Louisville Leopard Bowling Team fell against Triway on Thursday. Matt Darlison led the Leopards with games of 201 and 223. Chase Barstow threw a 204 and 207. Tom Warner rolled a 172 and 180. Nick Phillips bowled a 155 and a 179. Blake Yuhaniak threw a 176 and 150. They threw bakers of 175, 203, 171, and 208. The Leopards will travel to Strikezone on Friday to take on the Titans.

The Boy’s JV fell to Triway 1772-2264. Joe Fitzgerald led with a game of 161.

1/10: Louisville 2400, Canton Central Catholic 2285

The Louisville Leopard Bowling Team won against Canton Central on Friday.  Chase Barstow led with games of 192 and 243.  Blake Yuhaniak followed with a 157 and a personal record of a 221.  Matt Darlison rolled a 195 and a 167.  Tom Warner threw a 146.  Garrett Hilson bowled a 144.  Nick Phillips had a 139 and Randy Ellis rolled a 137.  The team rolled baker games of 193, 129, 179, and 158.

The Boy’s JV lost to Canton Central 1539-1688.  Joe Fitzgerald led with a 144 game.
