Lady Leopards Win Tri-Match with Central & Dover – Girls Golf

The Louisville Leopards Girls Golf Team continued their winning ways in a tri-match Monday evening at Zoar Golf Club. Louisville defeated Canton Central Catholic 162-181 and Dover 162-223.
Erin Strouse shot a team low 39 to lead the Lady Leopards. Louisville’s other three scorers finished just a stroke apart with Madison Gruber carding a 40, Alexis Ralston a 41, and Katie Bice a 42. Other LHS varsity golfers included Lauren L’Amoreaux who shot 46, Devanna Hoffman who finished with 49, and Peyton Biery who tallied 51.
The Lady Crusaders were led by Kristen Belden who shot 38 to finish as the match medalist. Rounding out the Central scorers were Kaitlin Belden with 43, Katie Bonar with 49, and Caroline Harold with 51. Sarah Colucy also shot a 59 for CCHS.
Louisville has now won 10 straight over Canton Central Catholic and now leads the all-time series 12-3. The Leopards also hold a 4-0 record over the Crusaders when competing on a neutral course.

The Lady Tornadoes were led by Riley Schie who shot a team best 47. Rounding out the Dover scoring were Skylar McPeek 57, Olivia Patton 59, and Riley McIntosh 60. Izzy Lint also shot 66 for DHS.
The Leopards are now 7-0 against the Tornadoes all-time, which includes a 3-0 record when playing at Dover’s home course of Zoar Golf Club.

UP NEXT: The Lady Leopards will next take on the Tallmadge Blue Devils on Wednesday, September 23 with the opportunity to complete an undefeated regular season for the first time in team history. Tee-time is set for 4:00 PM from Pleasant View Golf Club.
