“The Boys Golf Team was very young in 2020, returning only 2 full time varsity players. We saw 3 freshmen in Jack Mayle, Cole Miller, and Zach Root get plenty of Varsity action while also getting sophomore Caleb Harsh enough Varsity starts to earn his 1st letter. We had ups and downs throughout the season, playing a lot of tough courses along the way. We finished the season a disappointing 4-6 with several losses being by 5 strokes or less.
We were led by Jack Mayle’s 43.5 9 hole average. Our low 9 hole score for the season was 177 which we shot against Lake Center Christian at Sable Creek and against Dover at home. Our low 18 hole round for the year was a 348 at Mohican Hills in the Hillsdale Invitational. ”
