Leopards Have Rough Outing at Lake Invitational – Boys Golf

The Louisville Leopards Boys Golf Team competed at the Lake Invitational held at Congress Lake Country Club Monday. Louisville shot 400 and finished last out of 14 competing tournament teams.
Sam Karcher shot a team best 92 to lead the Leopards.Rounding out the Louisville scoring were Ryan Aljancic 101, Zach Root 102, and Cole Miller 105.
Jack Mayle had to withdraw for the Leopards after sustaining an injury on the course. Caleb Harsh was the only other Louisville participant and he carded 111 for the day.
Nolan Haynes was the invitational medalist shooting a tournament low 71 to lead the Archbishop Hoban Knights to a first place finish as a team with a team score of 301. The St. Ignatius Wildcats took second place after winning a 5th card tie-breaker with the Canton Central Catholic Crusaders who took third.
UP NEXT: The Leopards will travel to face the Medina Battling Bees on Wednesday, September 9. Tee-time is set for 4:00 PM from Fox Meadow Country Club.
