Leopards Stung By a Pair of Bees in Tri-Match – Boys Golf

The Louisville Leopards Boys Golf Team competed in a tri-match against the Medina Battling Bees and the Brecksville-Broadview Heights Bees Wednesday at Fox Meadow Country Club. Medina won the match posting a team total of 167, Brecksville finished with 184, and Louisville tallied 196. The Leopards are now 2-3 on the season following this result.
Sam Karcher led Louisville by shooting a team best 44. Ryan Aljancic also shot 47 and Anthony Warner carded 51. Caleb Harsh and Cole Miller tied for the fourth and final team score by tallying 53 each.
Preston Trumpler was the match medalist in shooting a match low 39 for the day to lead Medina. Nick Fartelli also shot 40 to finish second individually for the match. The final two Battling Bees, Tim Caspio and Zach Parker, both shot 44 each to tie Karcher for third individually amongst the three teams’ golfers.
Brecksville was led by Bryce Hall and Jack Kenney who shot a team low 45 each. Rounding out the scoring for the Bees were Mike Berish with 46 and William Breshear with 48.
UP NEXT: The Leopards will next travel to face the New Philadelphia Quakers on Monday, September 14. Tee-time is set for 4:00 PM from Oak Shadows Golf Club.
