Debate Team Competes Agains Tough Competition at GlenOak
The Leopards Speech & Debate team split up this past weekend, December 20-21, with the Debate team at Glenoak competing against some tough competition from across the state! Robert Duncan in Lincoln Douglas Debate made it to Double Octas of competition and Emma Patterson in Congress received 7th place at one of the hardest competitions of the season. All of our debaters picked up wins against the tough competition!
Speech Team with Some of Their Best Ranks Yet at McKinley
Our speech kids went to McKinley High School and did an incredible job with some of our best ranks yet! Carolina Ivey received 3rd place in the final round of Program Oral Interpretation. Gavin Millard received 7th place in Humorous Interpretation with Nadia Keyes not too far behind receiving 10th place. Taryn Allgood also received 10th place in Declamation. Congratulations to Tayleigh Folden, Megan and Maggie Begue, and Katie George for receiving some top ranks as well!
