Morgan Callan and Molly Wolfe took second place in duo Interpretation as Louisville earned a divisional sweepstakes title at Beavercreek. Callan also placed 2nd in Humorous Interpretation to earn a state bid.
Morgan Callan and Molly Wolfe took 1st in Duo Interpretation as Louisville placed 10th overall at Dublin Jerome. Micah Lowe was also the champion in International Extemporaneous Speaking for LHS at Copley.
Louisville Speech and Debate dominated at Highland, earning the top team rank and multiple individual bids to the state tournament. Standout performances included Micah Lowe taking 1st in International Extemporaneous, Malayna Swope placing 2nd in Dramatic Interpretation, and the duo of Morgan Callan and Molly Wolfe finishing 2nd in Duo Interpretation.
Louisville took 3rd in team sweepstakes at the OSDA Canton District Tournament. Lauren Clarke placed 1st in Declamation & Maya Baxter placed 3rd in Lincoln-Douglas Debate.
The LHS Speech & Debate Team took 3rd at Tusky Valley, 4th at Vermillion, and 6th at Perry and also had individuals compete at New Philadelphia this month.
Louisville placed 3rd at Highland on November 12 and 6th at Copley a week later on November 19. Many Leopards finished at the top individually and earned state tournament bids in the process.
Noah Capo placed 3rd in Lincoln Douglas with a 4-0 record and Declan Deioma finished 4th in International Extemporaneous Speaking to earn their first state bids as LHS finished 6th out of 38 schools at Perry.
Jessie Stewart took 1st in Original Oratory and Kenna Dunlap placed 1st in Programmed Oral Interpretation as Louisville received 5th in team sweepstakes at Warren JFK. LHS novices also competed at the GlenOak.
The Louisville High School Speech and Debate Team placed 7th in team sweepstakes at the Big District Tournament at Perry High School.
Louisville earned 4th place in team sweepstakes at the Canton District Debate Tournament and had 21 students qualify for the state tournament. Select students also competed at the Three Rivers Tournament in Upper St Clair, Pennsylvania.
