Louisville Places 4th Place at Carrollton Tournament – Speech & Debate
The Louisville Leopards Speech & Debate Team competed at the Carrollton Tournament this past weekend as well as honored their five seniors.

Kendal Loy scored a team high 8 points and Kelsey Adelman added 7 but Louisville fell to visiting North Canton Hoover 45-28. Courtney Barwick also scored 6 as LHS fell to 12-5 on the year.
The Louisville Speech & Debate Team earned 6th in team sweepstakes at the Hoover Tournament.
Louisville racked up 274 team points to easily earn their third consecutive EOWL Championship. The South Range Raiders placed second with 235 team points and the host Austintown Fitch Falcons came in third place with 185 team points.
The Louisville Boys defeated Orrville 64-8 and Canton McKinley 54-49 to finish 4-6. The Lady Leopards defeated the Red Riders 100-60 and Bulldogs 105-58 to finish 9-2.
Will Aljancic finished with a team high 23 and Hayden Nigro poured in 21 to lead the Leopards in their 70-59 home loss to the visiting Bulldogs. Brayden Gross also finished with 7 as LHS fell to 11-5.
Hayden Nigro scored a game high 29 and Will Aljancic poured in 23 to lead the Leopards past the host Polar Bears 68-66. Brayden Gross also added 8 points as Louisville won at Jackson for the first time since 1978.
Brooke Haren and Kendal Loy both scored a team high 10 points to lead the Lady Leopards past the visiting Bulldogs 49-41. Kelsey Adelman also scored 9 and Taryn Miglich added 7 as LHS improved to 12-4.

Blake Schaffer was named tournament MVP in leading Louisville to their second straight team title at the Josh Hephner Memorial Tournament. Kolten Barker, Cameron Brazek, Pablo Castro, Dominic Hoffarth, and Brenden Severs also finished 1st for LHS.
