The Louisville Leopards Boys Varsity Lacrosse Team fell in the final minute to the visiting Lake Blue Streaks Friday Night at Louisville Leopards Stadium. With the loss, Louisville drops to 4-1 on the year.


Kimble Scores 4 Goals to Lead Leopards

Jenny Can Cleaning AdSenior midfielder Brandon Kimble scored a team high 4 goals to lead the Leopards. Senior midfielder Joe Reynolds also recorded a hat trick and junior attack Jacob Davide added a score for Louisville.

The Leopards were in command for the entire first half of action. They led 3-1 at the end of the first quarter and held a 5-3 advantage at halftime. 


Blue Streaks Rally, Gray Scores Game-Winner

The Blue Streaks answered with three straight goals to start the second half before Kimble tied the game back up at 6-all late in the third quarter. Reynolds added another goal before the third period horn sounded and Louisville took a 7-6 lead into the final stanza.

Reynolds added another score for the Leopards in the fourth quarter, but Lake rallied to tie the game at 8-8 after that. Then Andy Gray became the Blue Streaks hero by scoring the game winning goal with 29.2 seconds to go.


Louisville Vs. Lake Boys Lacrosse History

My Fit Life Personal Trainer Side AdLouisville has now fallen to Lake in each of their last three meetings since 2019, which includes the last two matchups in the series played at Louisville Leopards Stadium. The Blue Streaks now lead the all-time series 4-3, but the Leopards still hold a 3-2 edge when playing Lake at home in the series.
