Louisville Wins Slugfest at GlenOak 10-7 – Softball
Matti Benson finished a perfect 5-for-5 and Shelby Mayle drove in 3 runs as the Leopards defeated the host Golden Eagles 10-7. Brooke Haren and Kaylee Nolte also had 2 hits each for 6-5 LHS.

Griffin Millspaugh and Riley Nieschwitz both won their singles matches in straight sets to lead the Leopards to a 4-1 victor over the visiting Golden Eagles. Both LHS doubles teams also won as Louisville improved to 5-3.
Chase Barstow rolled a 460 series and Nick Phillips rolled a 457 series to lead the Leopards in their 2858-2577 road victory over the Golden Eagles at Park Centre Lanes on February 19. Jon Mong also rolled a 384 series and Matt Darlison rolled a 345 series for Louisville.
Tom Warner rolled a 440 series to lead the Louisville boys in their 2930-2297 victory over visiting GlenOak. Alysa Thornhill rolled a 359 series to lead the Lady Leopards who fell to the Golden Eagles 2498-2225.

Bobby Ganser finished 6th and Colby Adams took 23rd individually to lead Louisville to a 6th place finish at the DI Youngstown Regional Meet at Boardman High School. The Leopards have now qualified for state in each of the past three seasons.
The #17 seed Leopards upset the host #16 Golden Eagles 25-18, 22-25, 26-24, 17-25, 15-12 to win their first sectional title since 2016. Lauren Siegfried finished with 35 assists, Sydney Bast tallied 31 digs, and Paige Cole threw down 29 kills as LHS won their 9th straight.
Bobby Ganser placed 1st out of 350 runners at the Malone Invitational to lead Louisville to a 2nd place finish. Colby Adams also took 8th, Stephen Ulrich 17th, and Owen Pukys 20th for the Leopards.
Riley Adams scored a second half goal for the Leopards, but Louisville could get no closer in their 2-1 loss at GlenOak. Goalkeeper Joey Reynolds also recorded 9 saves for now 0-2-1 LHS.
Seth Anderson caught a late 1st half touchdown pass from Caleb Miller but the Louisville JV fell to visiting GlenaOk 10-8. Ethan Thomas recorded a pair of sacks and Conner Morley scored a safety to lead the Leopards defense.
