Erin Strouse shot a match low 39 to lead the Lady Leopards to a 172-189 victory over the visiting Lady Crusaders. Other Louisville scorers included Abby Davids 41, Alexis Ralston 44, and Claire Weston 48 as LHS won its sixth straight duel match.
Zach Root recorded the first hole-in-one in Louisville team history as the Leopards finished 11th at the Tannenhauf Invitational. Jack Mayle again led LHS by shooting 81 for the tournament.
The Louisville Boys placed 3rd and the Lady Leopards took 5th out of 8 teams at the New Philadelphia Legends Individual at Woody Hayes Quaker Stadium.
Gracie Bush and Morgan Keelan each scored a pair of goals as the Lady Leopards shutout the host Crusaders 5-0. Gabby Smith also scored and Amelia Henderhan broke the school record with her 9th shutout in goal as LHS improved to 7-4-1.
Ethan Thomas ran in a pair of touchdowns and recorded a pair of sacks on defense as the Leopards blanked the Crusaders 28-0. Brandon Jackson also returned a punt of a touchdown and Seth Anderson caught a touchdown pass from Caleb Miller.
Paige Cole scored a game-high 17 points to lead Louisville to a 68-23 win at Canton Central Catholic. Kendal Loy also scored 11 and Sherilynn Mullett added 9 for the 10-5 the Lady Leopards.
The Leopards defeated the Crusaders 2400-2285 to even their mark at 6-6 on the season. Louisville fell to Triway and Minerva in previous dual meets and also competed at two holiday tournaments.
Grayson Beamer made 6 catches for 131 yards and caught a touchdown but the Leopards fell to the Crusaders 26-22 on Senior Night. Colton Jones also threw for 253 yards with touchdown passes to Jason Goard and Ryan Pukys.
Jenny Hamsher, Gabby Smith, and Tapanga Smith all scored a pair of goals to lead the Leopards in a come from behind 7-3 Senior Night win over the Crusaders. Morgan Mayle also scored for now 7-4-2 Louisville.
Katie Bice shot a team low 38 to lead Louisville in a 163-175 road victory over Canton Central Catholic. Alexis Ralston also shot 40 and Madison Gruber 42 for the now 13-1 Lady Leopards. Read more on Leopard Nation!
