The Louisville Leopards Girls Golf Team defeated the visiting Canton Central Catholic Crusaders 172-189 Thursday at Pleasant View Golf Club. The Lady Leopards have now won six straight duel matches with the victory and now hold a record of 9-2 for the year.

Strouse Shoots 39 to Lead Lady Leopards
Senior Erin Strouse shot a match low 39 to to lead Louisville. Senior Abby Davis also matched Central’s best golfer by posting a 41 for the day.
Seniors Alexis Ralston and Claire Weston rounded out the Lady Leopards scoring by carding 44 and 48 respectively. Junior Kylie Wallace also shot 51 as the only other LHS golfer.
Belden Cards 41 to Lead Lady Crusaders
The Lady Crusaders were led by Kristen Belden who finished with a team low 41. Others scoring for Central Catholic included Kaitlin Belden 47, Sara Colucy 49, and Caroline Herald 52.
With the victory, the Lady Leopards have now won 12 straight matches against the Lady Crusaders since 2015, which includes the past 5 matches in the series played at Pleasant View Golf Club. Louisville now leads the all-time series 14-3 overall, which includes a 6-1 mark at home against Central.
