There were seemingly endless great memories during the Leopards Boys Basketball team’s 2014-15 season, but the comeback win over Canton South rises above all the rest.
Sparked by Kylie Zifer’s game-tying 3-run homer, Louisville rallied from a 5-2 deficit with a 6-run 7th at West Branch en rout to their 7th straight Outright NBC Crown.
The Lady Leopards finished the regular season undefeated for just the second time in school history. Along with their 10-0 mark they also won the NBC Meet for the 3rd straight year.
The Boys won a tie-breaker with Carrollton to clinch their first NBC Title since 2008, the Girls beat out Minerva to clinch their 3rd conference title in 4 seasons. Dan Duplain and Sierra Townsend shot a team best for Louisville.
Only the 2007 State Runner-up Leopards scored more points than last year’s Football team which produced 446. Louisville Football also finished undefeated in the NBC for the second straight season.
Rachel Baughman scored a team record 6 goals to lead the Lady Leopards to a 6-1 victory over the Golden Eagles bak on September 20, 2014.
The Leopards beat the Vikings 39-30 in the first round to earn their first ever Dual Team Tournament victory. Andy Graham, Ryan Jakubiak, & Michael Seaman all pinned the opposition.
Helped out by a rowdy student section, the Lady Leopards Volleyball team swept host Lake and defeated Wooster to earn their 4th DI Sectional Title in 5 seasons.
Both Leopards Tennis Teams finished a perfect 10-0 in the NBC under the direction of NBC Coach of the Year Rod Hall. Both Gretchen Groves & Jake Pukys finished unbeaten in #1 Singles to each win NBC Player of the Year for the third straight season.
