Leopards Rally Past Massillon, Fall to GlenOak and Canfield in Quad Meet – Volleyball
The Louisville Leopards Varsity Volleyball Team competed in a quad meet at Massillon Washington High School Saturday. The Lady Leopards came from behind to defeat the host Tigers 16-25, 27-25, 25-17 in their opening match. Louisville was then swept by GlenOak 12-25, 12-14 and Canfield 21-25, 12-25. With these results, LHS is now an even 2-2 on the young season.
Louisville 16-27-25, Massillon 25-25-17
The Lady Leopards were led by Junior Outside Hitter Paige Cole who finished with a team-high 23 kills. Junior Setter Amanda Clark also recorded 18 assists to setup the offense and Junior Sydney Bast was Louisville’s top server with 8 points and 2 aces.
The Leopards defense was led by yet another Junior in Lauren Siegfried who had 13 digs.
GlenOak 25-25, Louisville 12-14
Lauren Siegfried led Louisville with team-highs of 9 digs on defense and 7 assists on offense. Amanda Clark equaled her team high with 7 assists as well and Paige Cole again led the team in kills with 7.
Sydney Bast was the Leopards top server for the second straight match with 4 points.
Canfield 25-25, Louisville 21-12
Paige Cole finished with a team leading 7 kills and was Louisville’s top server with 4 aces. Amanda Clark also recorded 7 assists and Sydney Bast tallied 6 digs.

UP NEXT: The Lady Leopards will next hit the road to face the North Canton Hoover Vikings on Thursday, September 5. JV is slated to begin at 5:30 PM with Varsity following at 7:00 PM.
