Leopards Blank GlenOak 5-0 – Girls Tennis

The Louisville Leopards Girls Tennis Team blanked the host GlenOak Golden Eagles 5-0 Tuesday. With their second straight shutout, Louisville improves to 8-2 on the year.

Louisville won every match in two sets. #1 singles player Rachel Kibler and the #1 doubles team of Mandy Plaskett and Jade Thomas both won by an identical score of 7-5, 6-2 in their matches.

Other singles winners included Jo Menegay 6-3, 6-0 in #2 singles and Sherilynn Mullett 6-2, 6-1 in #3 singles. The #2 doubles team of Carleen Fouts and Bailey Menegay also won in straight sets 6-0, 6-2.

With the win, Louisville has now taken the last 11 matches against GlenOak outscoring them 49-6 in that span. The Leopards now lead the all-time series 20-11 overall.
