Jodie Cress Out as Louisville Leopards Volleyball Head Coach

This past week decided that Louisville Leopards Volleyball Head Coach Jodie Cress would not return in 2019. She finishes a the winningest coach in team history compiling a record of 199-112 over her 13 year tenure and advancing to 2 DI District Championships.

Louisville Leopards Vs. Massillon Tigers Volleyball Tournament 2018 Video Highlights

Emily Phillips finished with 15 points serving and 19 digs to lead #12 Seed Louisville in their 25-20, 25-21, 23-25, 24-26, 10-15 loss to Massillon in the DI Alliance Sectional Semifinals. Erin Hahn also had 13 kills and 3 blocks and Amanda Clark added 19 assists for the Leopards who finish 8-14.

Erin Hahn finished with 20 kills and 7 blocks as Louisville defeated visiting St. Thomas Aquinas 25-20, 15-25, 25-18, 25-12 on Senior Night! Paige Cole also finished with 12 points, 2 aces, and 19 digs and Amanda Clark had 21 assists for the 8-13 Leopards.

Paige Cole finished with 8 digs and 5 blocks but the Leopards fell on the road against the Cardinals 28-30, 20-25, 17-25. Cami Nau also had 13 kills, Amanda Clark finished with 13 assists, and Kaitlyn Baskerville was Louisville’s top server.

Paige Cole had 10 kills & 14 digs and Lauren Siegfried finished with 12 points, 5 aces, and 3 blocks but Louisville fell to visiting Lake 30-28, 15-25, 20-25, 16-25 in their Volley for a Cure match. Amanda Clark also had 19 assists for the 7-11 Leopards.

Louisville Finishes 2-1 at Hoover Invitational – Volleyball

The Lady Leopards rallied to defeat the Orrville Red Riders 19-25, 25-21, 25-16 in their opening match and also defeated the Archbishop Hoban Knights 25-22, 25-22 in their second match. The fell to the East Liverpool Potters in their final match 18-25, 20-25 to finish 2-1 at the Hoover Invitational.
