Kyle Vesely went 3-for-4 and Andrew Corona finished 2-for-4 with 2 RBIs to lead the Leopards in their 7-4 loss to the host Trailblazers in their final game of the Johnny Whited Memorial Classic. Louisville is now 1-2 on the young season.
Louisville is set to rejoin a new conference for the 2024-2025 school year rejoining some old rivals.
Matti Benson went 4-for-4 with a 2-run homer and 3 RBIs to lead the Leopards in their 13-6 loss to the visiting Quakers. Brooke Haren and Katie Heather also registered multi-hit games for Louisville who dropped to 1-1.
The Leopards were shutout by the host Blue Streaks 5-0. Louisville is now 3-2 on the season.
Cole Miller went 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles and an RBI to lead the Leopards in their 7-4 loss to the host Vikings at Haynesfield Park Tod Houston Field in Bristol, Tennessee. Karson Siegfried also batted 2-for-4 with an RBI single as Louisville dropped to 1-1 at the Johnny Whited Memorial Classic.
Gabe Stoffer won #2 singles 6-1, 6-1 to lead the Leopards in their 4-0 shutout of the visiting Mustangs in a weather-shortened match. Both Louisville doubles teams also won in straight sets as LHS improved to 3-1.
Kenzi Denzer homered and Katie Heath threw a complete game 3-hitter as the Leopards defeated the visiting Tigers 3-1 in their season opener. Kaitlin Twinem also recorded an RBI triple and scored on Matti Benson’s RBI single in the first inning.
Garrett Holleran and Logan Demo won #2 doubles by a perfect count of 6-0, 6-0 to lead Louisville in their 4-1 road victory over Barberton. Gabe Stoffer and Chase Duskey also won their singles matches in straight sets as the Leopards improved to 2-1.
Connor Morley struck out 6 while earning the victory in his first start of the season as the Leopards upended the Cougars 10-1 in the Johnny Whited Memorial Classic in Hunter Wright Stadium in Kingsport, Tennessee. Zander Triplett also finished with 3 of Louisville’s 12 hits and scored a pair of runs.
