The Louisville Leopards Varsity Baseball Team fell to the host Tennessee High School Vikings 7-4 at Haynesfield Park Tod Houston Field in Bristol, Tennessee as part of the Johnny Memorial Whited Classic. With the loss, Louisville drops to 1-1 on the season.
Cole Miller went 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles and an RBI to lead the Leopards in their 7-4 loss to the host Vikings at Haynesfield Park Tod Houston Field in Bristol, Tennessee. Karson Siegfried also batted 2-for-4 with an RBI single as Louisville dropped to 1-1 at the Johnny Whited Memorial Classic.

Louisville Varsity Leopards got things started in the first inning when Karson Siegfried singled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run.
Tennessee High School pulled away for good with four runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth Gage Groziano hit a solo homer and Ashton Leonard homered on a 3-1 count, scoring three runs.
Groziano earned the victory on the mound for Tennessee High School. Groziano allowed one hit and zero runs over four and two-thirds innings, striking out seven.
Zach Root took the loss for Louisville Varsity Leopards. Root lasted four innings, allowing seven hits and five runs while striking out four and walking one.
Kaleb Feathers started the game for Tennessee High School. The pitcher went two and a third innings, allowing four runs on six hits, striking out two and walking one.
Tennessee High School mashed two home runs on the day. Groziano went for the long ball in the fourth inning. Leonard went yard in the fourth inning.
Louisville Varsity Leopards had seven hits in the game. Cole Miller and Siegfried each collected multiple hits for Louisville Varsity Leopards. Siegfried and Miller each collected two hits to lead Louisville Varsity Leopards. Louisville Varsity Leopards stole nine bases during the game as three players stole more than one. Ty Paumier led the way with two. Louisville Varsity Leopards didn’t commit a single error in the field. Siegfried had six chances in the field, the most on the team.
Tennessee High School collected 11 hits on the day. Leonard and Rylan Howard all managed multiple hits for Tennessee High School. Leonard led Tennessee High School with three hits in four at bats.
