Cam King finished 3 for 4 with an RBI but the Leopards fell to the Titans 5-2 in the Mingo Bay Classic. Davis Burick also had 2 hits and Bryce Zuppe had an RBI double as Louisville dropped to 2-1.
Davis Burick, Austin Cummings, and Broc Pickens all went yard as Louisville run-ruled Cincinnati Western Hills 14-3 in 5 innings in their Mingo Bay Classic opener. Tyler Jackson also drove in a pair of runs and Andrew Gray earned the win on the mound.
Jordan Shearer and Cam Lingle combined for a shutout on the mound during the Leopards 9-0 win over the Tornadoes. Davis Burick and Dillon Rebuck both went 2-for-3 with a pair of RBIs each for Louisville.
Jordan Shearer and Dillon Rebuck both had 2 hits and 2 RBIs to lead the Leopards past the visiting Panthers 11-4 in their final scrimmage. Dom Mongiardo also drove in a pair of runs and scored 3 times for Louisville who finishes the preseason at 2-1-1.
Andrew Gray pitched 4 scoreless to claim the win and Cam Lingle earned the save in Louisville’s 3-1 scrimmage in over Woodridge. Davis Burick also had a pair of hits and drove in a run for the Leopards.
Sarah Cantley pitched 4 scoreless innings and struck out 8 during Louisville’s 8-1 road scrimmage victory at South Range. Justin Sirohman also went 2 for 3 with a pair of RBIs and Shae Thomas earned the save in he circle.
Davis Burick drove in a pair of runs including the first in the Leopards 2-run seventh inning rally to tie the scrimmage at 6-6 against the host Aviators. Austin Cummings and Caleb Prasco also drove in runs during an earlier Louisville rallying.
Shae Thomas went 3-for-3 with 3 RBIs and earned the win in the circle as Louisville routed visiting Alliance 18-1 . Sydney McKeever also went 3-for-3 & scored 6 runs and Sarah Cantley drove in 3 runs.
Birthday Girl Sarah Cantley pitched 4 perfect innings and struck out 8 during the Lady Leopards 7-1 home scrimmage win over the Golden Bears. Justina Sirohman also recorded a pair of hits and 2 RBIs for Louisville.
Garrett Lautzenheiser and Davin Rhoads both won their State Finals matches within minutes of each other to become the first Louisville State Champions since 1986. The Leopards currently sit in 3rd place as a team.
