Louisville won every match in two sets as they shutout visiting Canton Central Catholic 5-0. Legendary Leopard Tennis Head Coach Greg Parrish was honored before the match and the LHS Tennis Courts were renamed in his honor.
Damien Lowder scored a pair of goals and Ryan Kibler netted the game-winner on a PK with 1:17 to go to lead the Leopards JV past the visiting Dukes 3-2 Saturday. Adler LaScola and Ethan Lewis both recorded assists for Louisville.
Payton Allen scored a pair of goals to lead the Lady Leopards in their 8-0 road shutout of the host Lady Tigers. Matti Benson, Morgan Keelan, and Alissa Lingenhoel all record a goal & an assist each for now 1-0-1 LHS.
Zack Seaman caught a 30 yard touchdown pass from Caleb Miller but the Leopards fell to the visiting Magics 26-7 to open the season. Shane Gates fumble recovery on defense setup Louisville’s only score.
Camden Dougherty scored a pair of 3 yard touchdown runs to lead the Leopards in their 16-14 season opening loss to the visiting Warriors. Brayden Gross and Kolton Loy both made plays to setup Louisville’s scores.
Amelia Henderhan recorded 23 saves to notch her 11th career shutout in goal as Louisville forced a draw at Stow 0-0. Fallon VanZant also came up big for the Lady Leopards defense during the third scoreless tie in team history.
Alexis Ralston shot a match best 39 to lead Louisville in their 164-191-259 win over the Blue Streaks and Falcons. Abby Davis also carded a 40 as the Lady Leopards improved to 6-2 on the year.
Erin Strouse shot a match low 36 and Abby Davis carded a 39 to lead the Lady Leopards in their 157-204 road victory against the Lady Tigers at The Legends of Massillon. Peyton Biery and Alexis Ralston also tallied 41 each to round out the LHS scoring.
Abby Davis shot a team low 72 to finish as individual runner-up for the tournament in leading Louisville to a 1st place finish at the George Valentine Invitational. Alexis Ralston also placed 5th shooting 75 and Erin Strouse took 7th after carding a 76.
Erin Strouse shot a team low 82 to lead the Lady Leopards who finished 8th at the Midwest Classic at Skyland Pines Golf Club. Alexis Ralston also shot 85, Abby Davis 89, and Claire Weston 104 to round out Louisville’s scoring.
