The Leopards will drop to Division II for the 2015-16 and 2016-17 sports seasons according to the enrollment figures released by the OHSAA this week.
Nick Chaplik took 6th in the 800 Meter Run for the Boys and Devin Kring took 8th in the 300 Meter Hurdles for the Girls. The Leopards had no state qualifiers.
Louisville Leopards Spring Sports 2015 County, District, NBC Conference Award Winners as well as all Scholar Athletes & Letter Winners.
Both the Boys & Girls Leopards Track Teams finished 8th at the DI North Canton District Meet. Louisville qualified for Regionals in 10 separate events.
The Boys took second place at the NBC Meet, while the Girls took first place to claim their 7th NBC Title in 8 seasons. See full results in this post.
The Louisville Boys Track team defeated Canton South 87-41 and the Girls finished their undefeated run with a 88-36 victory over the visiting Wildcats Tuesday on Senior Day.
Noah Chaplik won the 3200 Meter Run and Nick Chaplik set a school record time in the 800 Meter Run to lead the Louisville Boys to a 9th place finish at the Jackson Twilight. The Girls finished 18th.
The Louisville Boys downed Alliance 77-51 to improve to 4-2 and the Leopards Girls defeated the Aviators 89.5-37.5 to stay undefeated at 6-0.
Nick Chaplik won the 800 Meter Run, Kobie Shepherd placed 2nd in Shot Put, and Devin Kring took 2nd in the 300 Meter Hurdles to lead the Leopards.
