Girls Tennis Defeats Previously Unbeaten Canton South

The Doubles Teams of Caitlin Kerzan & Alexis Pochubay and Tory Esposito & Alexis Wendt each won, but Louisville fell at Central Catholic 3-2.
Louisville took first place at the Orrville Invitational Saturday at the College of Wooster. This is the 6th straight season the Lady Leopards have won the Invite.
Kayla Pukys, Jozie Scott, and Natalie Richards all won their singles matches in straight sets as the Lady Leopards shutout the Golden Eagles 5-0.
The Leopards fell to the Bees 4-1 in the first round of the Ohio Tennis Coaches’ Association DI Tournament. Kayla Pukys won in #1 Singles for Louisville.
The Lady Leopards fell to the Polar Bears 4-1 in the season opener Wednesday. Kayla Pukys defeated Emily Thomas in #1 Singles for the only Louisville point.
Both Leopards Tennis Teams finished a perfect 10-0 in the NBC under the direction of NBC Coach of the Year Rod Hall. Both Gretchen Groves & Jake Pukys finished unbeaten in #1 Singles to each win NBC Player of the Year for the third straight season.

The Leopards will drop to Division II for the 2015-16 and 2016-17 sports seasons according to the enrollment figures released by the OHSAA this week.
