Girls Golf Falls to GlenOak in Toughest Test of Season

The Lady Leopards defeated the Golden Eagles 5-0 Thursday. Both Gretchen Groves and Sarah Robbins won their singles matches a perfect 6-0, 6-0.
The Boys placed 1st and the Girls took 18th at the Golden Eagle Invitational Saturday. Noah Chaplik took 3rd place overall to lead the Boys.
Rachel Baughman scored a the game-winning Golden Goal in overtime as Louisville defeated GlenOak in the Sectional Final on October 17. The victory was also the 100th all-time for the Girls Soccer Program
Louisville defeated GlenOak 3-2, Canton South 5-0, United Local 5-0, and Marlington 4-1 on consecutive nights to improve to 12-1 overall and 7-0 in NBC play. Jake Pukys remains undefeated in #1 Singles for the season.
Canton South overcame 8 fielding errors in downing host Louisville 7-4. Stephen Kerzan & Garrett Yoder had 2 hits each to lead the Leopards.
GlenOak scored 11 runs in the first two innings during their 13-3 victory over visiting Louisville. The Leopards are now 4-5 on the season.
Rachel Zeller led the Lady Leopards with 16 points and 2 three-pointers, Hollyann Mullett also added 12 points, and Abby Beaver scored 5 during Louisville’s first loss to GlenOak since 2009.
Rachel Baughman scored the Golden Goal with 12:17 left in the first overtime to lift Louisville past GlenOak 1-0 in the DI Girls Soccer Sectional Semifinals Wednesday. The Lady Leps are now 100-71-20 all-time.
The Louisville Lady Leopards Girls Soccer team will host the winner of GlenOak-Hoover in the Sectional Finals on Thursday, October 17 at 7:00 PM.
