Leopards Fall to Greenmen 2-1 in Double Overtime Heartbreaker – Boys Soccer

Kylie Wallace shot a team best 97 and Peyton Biery shot 100 to lead the Lady Leopards in their 12th place finish in the morning wave of the Hudson Lady Explorer Invite at Lake Forest Country Club. Natalie Warner also carded 103, Anna Myers 114, and Isabelle Tack’s 121 allowed Louisville to capture the tie-breaker over GlenOak for 12th.
Dominic Hoffarth won the 138 State Title and Pablo Castro finished as the 132 State Runner-Up at the DII State Tournament. Louisville had a record 6 wrestlers place during the tournament as the team took 3rd overall.
#2 Louisville defeated #4 Ashland 48-25 in the consolation match to take 3rd in the DII OHSWCA State Dual Tournament. The Leopards also defeated #7 Miami Trace 42-24 in the quarterfinals before falling to. #3 Aurora 43-29 in the semifinals
Colby Adams, Bobby Ganser, & Owen Pukys all finished in the top 6 to lead the Leopards to their first District Title since 2019. Camryn Barker and Bailey Menegay qualified for regionals for the Louisville girls.
Abby Davis and Erin Strouse each shot a team low 82 to lead Louisville who finished the season placing 9th at the DI Northeast District Tournament held at Brookledge Golf Club. Alexis Ralston also shot 86 and Claire Weston carded a 94 to round out the Lady Leopards scoring.
Eight Leopards recorded pins in their 60-14 OHSWCA DII Alliance District Semifinal victory at Aurora. Brenden Severs, Cameron Brazek, Garett Lautzenheiser, Pablo Castro, Davin Rhoads, Dan Kennedy, Josiah Leonard, and Austin Stauffer all won by fall for 7-2 LHS.
Katie Bice shot a tournament low 73 to finish as individual district champion and Alexis Ralston took third place by carding a 75 as Louisville won their first district title and advanced to state for the first time in team history!
Garett Lautzenheiser, Davin Rhoads, & Blake Robbins all took home District Titles to lead Louisville who finished 1st as a team. The Leopards set a team record with 8 state qualifiers.
