Louisville Wins at Tuslaw in Five Set Thriller – Volleyball

The Louisville Leopards Varsity Volleyball Team earned a hard fought five set victory on the road over the Tuslaw Mustangs Monday Night at Tuslaw High School. The Lady Leopards defeated the host Mustangs 25-27, 25-19, 25-22, 20-25, 15-13 to improve to 2-13 on the season.

All Around Effort from the Lady Leopards

Louisville was led on defense by senior defensive specialist/libero Kait Kardohely who finished with a match leading 22 digs. Freshman outside hitter/middle hitter Taylor McCully and junior opposite hitter Sloane Sypolt also registered a match high 6 blocks each.

On offense, junior setter AJ Burick finished with a match best 36 assists. She help setup junior outside hitter Brooke Haren and senior middle hitter Lexi Jobe all night long. Haren recorded a match high 14 kills and Jobe finished right behind her with 13 kills.

Eberhardt Leads Mustangs

Tuslaw was led by junior outside hitter Katelyn Eberhardt who finished with 14 kllls, 5 blocks, and 2 kills. Senior outside hitter/middle hitter Rylee Stookey also had 7 kills and 4 blocks, sophomore setter Dani Crescenze finished with 19 assists and an ace, senior setter/defensive specialist Michaela Stevens had 11 assists and 7 digs, and senior defensive specialist/libero Jenna Boyd tallied a team high 20 assists.
