The Louisville Leopards Girls Golf Team defeated the host Northwest Indians 145-225 Tuesday at Lyons Den Golf Course in Canal Fulton. With the victory, Louisville finishes the regular season with a record of 13-2.

Ralston Sets 9-Hole Team Record

Senior Alexis Ralston set a new 9-hole team record by shooting a personal best 4 under par 30 to lead the Lady Leopards. The previous 9-hole low record was held by Katie Bice who shot 32 on the Pleasant View front nine at the Tri-County Preseason Invitational in 2020


Strouse Breaks 9-Hole Season Average Record

Lingenhoel Group - Arden and Lisa Lingenhoel - Cutler Real Estate AdSenior Erin Strouse matched Bice’s performance from a year ago by shooting 2 under par 32 for the day. The 32 is a personal low mark for Strouse eclipsing her previous low score of 33 during a 148-157 home victory over Canton Central Catholic at Pleasant View Golf Club in 2020. 

Including her effort on Tuesday, Strouse set a new 9-hole program record as she finishes averaging a score of 36.7 for the season. Strouse beat her own record of 38, which she set last season. Sierra Townsend previously held the mark before that averaging 39.3. 


Cliff Shoots Team Low 45 to Lead Northwest

Jenny Can Cleaning AdRounding out the scoring for Louisville were seniors Abby Davis and Lauren L’Amoreaux who shot 41 and 42 respectively. Sophomore Peyton Biery also tallied a 44 and junior Kylie Wallace finished with 47.

Northwest was led by Jessica Cliff who shot a team low 45. Other scorers for the Lady Indians included Laura Caniglia 59, Sadie Vlliers 60, and Lacey Bibbee 61. Bella Ortega also shot 64 as the other NHS varsity participant.


Leopards Post 2nd Lowest All-Time Team Score

Re-Elect Corey Street Louisville City Council AdWith the victory, Louisville is now 4-0 against Northwest all-time. This includes a 2-0 mark when playing the Indians at the Lyons Den.

The Lady Leopards team score of 145 is their second lowest in a single match in team history. The only lower team score also came at the Lyons Den last year in a 143-194 win over Northwest. Louisville has now posted a top 4 all-time team score in each of their last three matches.
