After a week off from competition, the Louisville Leopards Girls Golf Team returned to the green by shooting their lowest score of the season. Louisville defeated the visiting Massillon Tigers 151-188 Tuesday at Pleasant View Golf Club while posting their third best team score in program history. The victory is their 10th straight in duel match play as they improve to 11-2 overall for the season.

Strouse Ties Season Low to Lead Louisville

Senior Erin Strouse tied her season low shooting even par 35 to lead the Lady Leopards as the match medalist. Senior Alexis Ralston shot 37 and senior Abby Davis also carded 39 to finish ahead of the Tigers best. Senior Lauren L’Amoreaux matched Massillon’s best while tallying 40.

Finishing just outside the scoring was sophomore Peyton Biery who finished with a 41. Senior Claire Weston also recorded a 45 for Louisville.

Findley Cards 40 to Lead Massillon

The Lady Tigers were led by Payton Findley who shot a team best 40. Rounding out the scoring for Massillon were Morgan Aannon 47, Chessey Amthaway 50, and Delaney Findley 51.

The Lady Leopards are now 4-0 against the Lady Tigers all-time dating back to their first match in 2017. This includes a perfect 3-0 mark in matches played at Pleasant View Golf Club. Both teams finished with their lowest scores ever in the series.

Lady Leopards Third Best 9-Hole Team Score

The 151 shot by Louisville is tied for their third lowest 9-hole score in their history and is second all-time in terms of matches played on their home course of Pleasant View.
