Louisville Sets 9 Hole Team Record Again in Win Over Beaver Local – Girls Golf
Louisville 153, Beaver Local 203
The Louisville Leopards Girls Golf Team set a new 9-hole school record low in their 153-203 victory over the visiting Beaver Local Beavers Tuesday at Pleasant View Golf Club. With the victory, Louisville improves to 8-1 on the season.
Junior Madison Gruber was the match medalist shooting a match best 37 to lead the Leopards. Right behind her were Erin Strouse who carded a 38, and both Abby Davis and Alexis Ralston who finished shooting 39 each matching Beaver Local’s best. Rounding out the Varsity squad were Lauren L’Amoreaux 43, Maddy Fowler 45, and Katie Bice 47.
The Beavers were led by Mckenna Kyler who shot a team best 39 and Brook Biggs who finished with 41.Brooke Talbot also shot 53 and Showna 70.
Louisville set a new 9-hole school record low once already this year in their 155-194 win over Perry on August 19 at Pleasant View Golf Club. Tuesday’s match eclipsed that mark by two shots to take over as the lowest 9-hole team score in their 10-year history.
The Leopards are now 4-1 against the Beavers all-time with a series mark of 2-0 in matches played at home..
UP NEXT: The Leopards will next host the Dover Tornadoes on Tuesday, September 3. Tee-time is set for 4:30 PM from Pleasant View Golf Club.

– The Louisville Leopards at Canton Central Catholic Crusaders match originally scheduled for Monday, August 26 has been moved to Monday, September 9 at 4:00 PM.
– The match at Massillon on Monday, September 9 has been cancelled.
