Leopards Place 2nd at Maumee Bay Classic – Wrestling
Garett Lautzenheiser, Davin Rhoads, and Jax Leonard all took 1st place as Louisville finished 2nd out of 47 teams at the Maumee Bay Classic.

Brent Paulus, Garett Lautzenheiser, Davin Rhoads, and Dan Kennedy all had 1st period pins as Louisville won at Canfield 46-21. Jax Leonard and Carter Mickley also won by fall as the Leopards improved to 7-0.
Dominic Hoffarth, Garett Lautzenheiser, Jax Leonard, and Brent Paulus all record 2 pins as the Leopards shutout the Tigers 78-0 and defeated the Falcons 55-7. Louisville is now 6-0 on the season.
Garett Lautzenheiser went undefeated finishing as the 120 champion to lead the Leopards who took 8th out of 49 teams at the Brecksville Invitational Holiday Tournament. Davin Rhoads also placed 3rd and Jax Leonard took 4th.
Garett Lautzenheiser, Jax Leonard, and Davin Rhoads all took 1st place in leading the Leopards to a 2nd place finish as a team at the North Canton Holiday Tournament. Blake Robbins also took 2nd and Brent Paulus came in 3rd.
The Leopards crushed the host Boardman Spartans 70-15 and Lakeside Dragons 65-12 in a tri-meet to improve to 4-0. Garett Lautzenheiser, Davin Rhoads, and Brent Paulus all had pins in both matchups to lead LHS.
Louisville demolished West Branch 68-10 before blanking host Northwest 80-0 tying their largest win in team history. The Leopards won 26 of 28 individual matches and pinned 17 opponents during the tri-match with the Warriors and Indians.
Garrett Lautzenheiser and Davin Rhoads both won their State Finals matches within minutes of each other to become the first Louisville State Champions since 1986. The Leopards currently sit in 3rd place as a team.
Garrett Lautzenheiser won the 120 District Championship as Louisville finished 3rd as a team at the DII Alliance District Wrestling Tournament. David Rhoads, Jax Leonard, and Blake Robbins were all District Runner-Ups and Brent Paulus and Riley Brendle also qualified for State.
Lacy Harvey, Garrett Lautzenheiser, Jax Leonard, Brent Paulus, and Blake Robbins were all crowned Sectional Champions as Louisville placed first as a team at the DII Northwest Sectional Tournament. Davin Rhoads, Carter Mickley, and Daniel Kennedy also took second.
