Leopard Trifecta Leads LHS Past Boardman 59-48 – Girls Basketball

Taryn Miglich scored a game-high 24, Kelsey Adelman scored 21, and Brooke Haren added 20 to lead Louisville to a 77-52 win over Chardon in their home opener. LHS is now 2-1 on the season.
Courtney Barwick and Taryn Miglich scored a team-high 14 points each to lead the Lady Leopards in their 64-39 road victory over the Lady Mustangs. Kelsey Adelman also finished with 11 points as Louisville improved to 1-1.
Brooke Haren scored a game-high 22 points to lead the Lady Leopards in their season opening loss to the host Lady Bears 71-51. Kelsey Adelman and Courtney Barwick also added 9 points each for Louisville.
Jeff Couto returns as the head coach of the Louisville Leopards Girls Varsity Basketball Team after previously holding the same position from 1999-2008. He replaces Chris Esterak who recently was hired as Twinsburg’s head coach.
Paige Cole hit 5 three-pointers and scored a team-high 17 points to lead the Lady Leopards in their 80-58 loss to the Lady Pups in the DI Northeast 1 Sectional Finals. Sherilynn Mullett and Aubrey Thorne also added 11 each as LHS finished 8-14.
Sherilynn Mullett scored a team-high 17 points to lead #25 seed Louisville to a 67-51 victory over visiting #28 seed Boardman in the DI Northeast 1 Sectional Semifinals. Paige Cole also scored 12, Aubrey Thorne 11, and Brooke Haren 10 for the 8-13 Leopards.
Kendal Loy scored a game-high 16 points but Louisville fell on the road to Berlin Center Western Reserve 45-42. Sherilynn Mullett also scored 11 and Paige Cole added 10 for now 7-13 LHS.
Sherilynn Mullett scored a team-high 20 points and tied a team record with 9 steals to lead the Lady Leopards in their 58-56 road loss to the Bulldogs. Paige Cole also poured in 17 points, Kendal Loy scored 7, and Kelsey Adelman added 6 for now 7-12 LHS.
Paige Cole and Sherilynn Mullett both scored a team-high 11 points each as Louisville won at Western Reserve Academy 68-38. Brooke Haren also scored 9 and Aubrey Thorne added 8 for LHS who improved to 7-11.
