McCully Scores Team High 14 in Debut

Jenny Can Cleaning AdFreshman Taylor McCully scored 9 of her team high 14 points in the second half to lead the Lady Leopards. Sophomore Courtney Barwick also reached double digits with 11 and senior Taryn Miglich tacked on 9 for Louisville.

The Lady Leopards scorched the nets from long range burying 9 three-pointers as a team. Barwick, McCully, and Miglich all hit home 3 three-pointers each. Louisville would triple up Jackson in three-point makes for the game 9-3, but JHS would hold a distinct 27-15 edge in total field goals made.


Patibandla Drops in Game High 21 to Lead Jackson

The Lady Bears were led by 6’1 senior Leena Patibandla who poured in 19 of her game high 21 points in the second half. Fellow senior Lauren Pallotta also scored 16 and junior Megan Campbell finished in double figures with 11.

The Lady Leopards came out of the gate hot in hitting 3 three-pointers to take an 11-10 advantage at the end of the first. Jackson would use a 13-5 second quarter to pull ahead at halftime and took a commanding 43-26 lead after doubling up Louisville in the third quarter 20-10. 

The scoring was relatively even in the final period of action as the Leopards found success with the press with less than two minutes to play. The Lady Bears would still hold a 19-18 advantage in the fourth quarter to expand their lead to 18 at the final horn.


Polar Bears Win 8th Straight Vs. Leopards

My Fit Life Personal Trainer Side AdJackson has now defeated Louisville in eight straight meetings dating back to 2012. This is only the second time the Lady Bears have traveled to LHS during that stretch with Jackson also winning that 2020 game by the count of 54-44.

The Lady Leopards now trail the Lady Bears in the all-time series 15-26, but still hold a 10-8 record when playing against Jackson at home.
