The Louisville Leopards Varsity Volleyball Team fell to the visiting Austintown Fitch Falcons in five sets 25-23, 23-25, 25-23, 16-25, 9-15 Thursday Evening at Louisville High School. With the loss, Louisville drops to 6-8 on the season.

Burick Leads Lady Leopards
Sophomore Setter AJ Burick led the Lady Leopards with team highs in several statistical categories. Burick finished with 9 points and 1 ace serving, 20 digs and 3 block assists on defense, and 36 assists on offense.
Senior outside hitter Kelsey Adelman also finished with a team leading 11 kills on offense. Sophomore middle hitter/opposite hitter Sloane Sypolt also added 3 block assists on defense for Louisville.
Louisville Vs. Austintown Fitch Volleyball History
With the loss, the Lady Leopards have now dropped 3 of their past 4 matchups with the Lady Falcons. Louisville trails the all-time series 3-5 dating back to their first known meeting in 1996, but still holds a 2-1 record over Austintown Fitch when playing at LHS. The most recent series between the two teams is now even at 3-3 since 2018.
