Lady Leps Torch Red Devils 12-1 in Scrimmage

Louisville 12, Crestwood 1

The Louisville Lady Leopards girls soccer team dominated in their first home scrimmage of the season Monday evening with a 12-1 victory over the Crestwood Red Devils.

The Lady Leps stormed out to a 7-1 halftime lead and would have continued to light up the scoreboard had it been on.  In fact if this scrimmage had been a regular season game it would have been a Louisville Girls Soccer record for the most goals in a single contest.  The Lady Leps beat Carrollton 10-0 on October 1, 2008, which was the only time Louisville Girls Soccer reached double digits in the regular season.

NEXT UP: The Lady Leopards will participate in a three-way scrimmage with North Canton Hoover and Kent Roosevelt at Kent on Tuesday, August 16 at 5:00 PM.
