Lady Leps Split Tri-Scrimmage with Hoover & Kent

The Lady Leopards girls soccer team participated in a tri-scrimmage with the North Canton Hoover Vikings and Kent Roosevelt Rough Riders Tuesday in Kent. Louisville faced each team in two forty minute scrimmages, here are the results:

Hoover 3, Louisville 0

The Vikings and Leps played even for the first 27 minutes of the contest, before Hoover scored on a breakaway goal by Madison Helterbran.  Things came undone after that for the Leps and Helterbran wasn’t finished.  She scored two more goals in the next nine minutes to give her a hat trick for the scrimmage.

Louisville 2, Kent Roosevelt 2

The Leopards played to a 2-2 tie against Kent Roosevelt in the second scrimmage of the day.  After giving up an early goal to the Rough Riders, Mackenzie Storlie set up Michelle Patterson who scored to even the game at 1-1.  After surrendering a second goal to Kent Roosevelt, Liz Stefanik scored a late goal to secure the tie for the Lady Leps

NEXT UP: The Lady Leopards will host the Rootstown Rovers on Wednesday, August 17 at 5:00 PM in their final scrimmage before the alumni game.
